Cuban Ambassador to Japan Speaks of Cuban Reality

Havana, August 8 (acn) Cuba is showing its capacity of resistance 
against the hostile policy of the United States and its trade, 
financial and economic blockade, said Cuban ambassador to Japan Orlando 
Hernández Guillén.

According to Prensa Latina news agency, the Cuban diplomat noted that 
the Caribbean country has experienced a steady and favorable economic 
growth in spite of Washington's pressures.

In an interview with the NHK state television network, Hernández 
Guillén spoke of the socio-political and economic reality in Cuba and 
of the achievements of the Cuban Revolution, which has suffered the 
aggressiveness of the US government for almost 50 years.

Asked about any changes in Cuba, the diplomat stressed that Cuba is in 
constant transformation towards more socialism and international 
solidarity.
