Hugo Chavez and Evo Morales Sign New Accords

Havana, September 10 (acn) Venezuela's Hugo Chavez and Bolivia's Evo 
Morales on Sunday signed an agreement for the creation of a joint 
venture to operate one of the world's biggest iron deposits located in 
Mutun, Bolivia.

The accord, penned during the Alo Presidente show, involves the 
construction of facilities on the site to process the mineral and meet 
Bolivia's domestic demand for iron sheet.

The will of the two governments to create a petro-chemical complex to 
operate gas deposits in Cochabamba, Bolivia, was expressed in another 
document signed by the two presidents, reported Granma newspaper.

Chavez and Morales further agreed on investing in two cement plants and 
several forest projects, as a new step forward in the development of 
the integrationist project for the region, the Bolivarian Alternative 
for the Americas (ALBA).
