Cuba's FM at UN for General Assembly, Climate, Non-Aligned Mtgs

Havana, Sept 24 (acn) Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque is in 
New York heading the island's delegation that will participate in the 
General Debate of the United Nations' 62nd Period of Sessions to begin 
on Tuesday.

Perez Roque will attend the UN General Assembly's High-Level Meeting on 
global warming on Monday, chaired by the UN General Secretary, reports 
Granma newspaper.

Likewise, the Cuban diplomat is scheduled to preside over the 
Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement's Coordinating Bureau.

During the meeting Perez Roque will brief the participants on the plan 
of actions undertaken by the Cuban government to fulfil the accords 
signed at the last NAM Summit held in Havana in September 2006.

The Cuban Minister will also attend other important meetings and will 
hold several bilateral contacts with representatives from different 
countries.
