Nicaragua-Cuba Vs US at UN

United Nations, Sep 25 (Prensa Latina) Labeling the US blockade of Cuba
as "brutal and inhumane," Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega lashed
back at anti-Cuba attacks from US President George W. Bush at the
United Nations on Tuesday.

On addressing the 62nd UN General Assembly, Ortega called it "absolute
disrespect" for Bush to talk about Cuba when Bush represents a system
that ordered the assassination of President Fidel Castro.

It (the US) insists on continuing this ruthless blockade while, for
political and economic reasons, it holds ties with other countries of
ideological divergence, added Ortega.

The Nicaraguan statesman recalled the over 40 years of victims of the
US unilateral economic, commercial and financial hammerlock on Cuba and
its heroic and noble people, targets of attacks "of every nature."

Ortega also recalled the Five Cuban heroes imprisoned in the US since
1998 for fighting terrorism, and lashed against imperialist global
capitalism, calling the US government the greatest dictatorship in the
history of humankind.
