Ortega Decries World Capitalism at UN
United Nations, Sep 25 (Prensa Latina) President of Nicaragua Daniel
Ortega strongly criticized world imperialist capitalism imposed by a
minority of rich countries and accused the United States of being the
worst dictatorship in human history.
What is currently presented as the world's most exemplary democracy is
really the most gigantic, impressive dictatorship ever in human
history, said Ortega during his speech before the UN General Assembly.
The world today is under the tyranny of world capitalism, and the
current international economic order is dictated by "a minority" who
impose their interests, he denounced.
This General Assembly is nothing more than a reflection of this world
reality, he continued, saying that 18 years after his last appearance
before the UN in 1988, the panorama with examples of Palestine, Puerto
Rico and the US base in Guantanamo, Cuba - remains the same.
