Ahmadinejad Says Iran Rejects Enemies and Advocates Peace

Havana, Nov 21 (acn) Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on 
Wednesday that resisting bullying powers and detractors of the Iranian 
nation is much more important than having nuclear energy, reported IRNA.

While addressing a large audience in Ardebil, the President said "if we 
give in to the pressure being exerted by our enemies, our chances to 
maintain our independence will be lost". "Once the US fails to pressure 
us, there will be no excuse for other powers to do the same," he 
pointed out.

"Our access to nuclear energy will speed our development," Ahmadinejad 
added. "Nevertheless, our resistance against bullying powers will bring 
us more dignity than the benefits we may get from nuclear energy."

Ahmadinejad further said that "Iran is not an aggressor country. It 
advocates friendship and brotherhood which, in turn, bring blessing, 
peace and security for all nations".

"Your brave resistance has worked out against our enemies and now our 
country has turned into a powerful country," concluded the President.
