Committee to Celebrate the Life of Luis Miranda
Dear Sisters and Brothers,
On November 13 our dear friend, brother, and comrade-in-struggle Luis
Miranda passed away. Inspired by his life and example a number of
organizations and activists, listed below, working with Luis's family,
are calling for the organization of a large public Memorial Meeting in
January 2008 to celebrate the life and political contribution of Luis
Miranda. The first meeting of the Committee being established will be
Tuesday, November 27 at the 1199/SEIU Building, 310 West 43rd St,
between 8th and 9th Avenues, New York City, at 6:30 PM.
We hope to see you on Tuesday, November 27.
