Dear Readers:

This weekend Bolivia once again lived through dramatic moments. This
time in the city of Sucre, where a new right-wing offensive has left
four dead. The decision of Evo Morales’s government to approve at all
costs the new Political Constitution, in the middle of mobilizations
against it, has caused the new upsurge of violence. UB has left its
involuntary silence to try to understand what’s happening right now.

While opposition politicians are already asking for the government to
fall, Evo has a message to the nation defending his magna carta
project, accusing the oligarchy to be heading for a coup, asking for
Bolivians to be calm, and announcing that they will not stop working on
their project for change.

We have published a first report about everything that’s happened at
the Constituent Assembly, but we hope to have more information and
we’ll continue informing you as events unfold. Stay tuned…
