Cuban Five Relatives Meet with Solidarity-with-Cuba Groups

Havana, Nov 28(acn) Relatives of the internationally known Cuban Five 
had a meeting with solidarity-with-Cuba groups from Kenya and the Czech 
Republic on Thursday in Havana.

These groups join the list of over 300 committees from over 112
countries demanding the release of Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labanino, 
Rene Gonzalez, Antonio Guerrero and Fernando Gonzalez -anti-terrorist 
fighters serving unjust sentences in US prisons since 1998.

Olga Salanueva and Elizabeth Palmeiro, wives of Rene and Ramon
respectively, updated the foreign guests on current situation of the 
legal case built up against their husbands. Magali Llort and Mirtha 
Gonzalez, the mothers of Fernando and Antonio, called for unity in the 
movement for freedom for their sons.

The Cuban Five have been victims of constant and outrageous violations 
of their civil rights in what has been a politically manipulated legal 
process, as has been proven by international authorities on the issue.
