Conspiracy Against Venezuela

It is quite common to hear analysts and the mass media say that
Venezuela's denunciations of Washington's interference in the nation's
internal affairs are pure propaganda, magnifying the risks. It would be
interesting, for those that have that opinion, to look at the report
dated November 20th from the US embassy in Caracas to CIA headquarters.
The document was not reported by any of the big news agencies, and much
less by the western press. But the alternative web site 'aporrea.org'
reported the complete document to the world in an attempt to break the
silence. The memorandum begins with a report about the US fear, up to
the last moment, of a 'YES' victory for constitutional reforms proposed
by President Hugo Chavez. It urges persisting with putting out false
surveys of a majority of the population in favour of a 'NO' vote. This
was to create a favourable climate for organizing protests against the
popular victory, which was expected at the time. And all this without
forgetting the call for "civil disobedience" and alerting the organized
military forces and groups in so-called "green" or "blue" countries, to
act against the Bolivarian Revolution once the internal chaos began. It
was nothing less than the Tenaza Plan orchestrated by Washington, and,
according to the authors of the document already mentioned, its
objective was not only to boycott the referendum at the polls, but to
promote a series of subversive actions to definitively oust Hugo Chavez.
The US embassy in Caracas with a long list of internal collaborators,
advised that it has already spent 8 million dollars on propaganda and
payments to anti Chavez groups including a bank account number that, it
says, has been detected by government intelligence sources and cannot
continue to be used for sending destabilization funds. And lastly, the
official memorandum explains that all must done to gain an
institutional or physical space in Venezuela, one way or another,
lasting at least 72 hours in order to mobilize other internal and
external forces to destroy the popular government. In few words, the
document is a clear, precise and detailed confession of the
aggressiveness and interference against the Venezuelan revolutionary
process by Washington.
However, it is evident that for the big "news hunters" of the western
press, this is of no great interest.
We have the "boys" of the White House talking about the freedom of the
press, transparency and honesty, while they spread all the falseness
they are capable of in order to confuse the people in the world.
