Documentary on Cuban Five Premiers Today in L.A.

Havana, Dec 6 (acn) The premiere of the documentary "The Trial: The 
Untold Story of the Cuban Five," dedicated to the five Cuban 
antiterrorist fighters held in US prisons, will take place Thursday in 
the Los Angeles, Hollywood area, with an opening speech by Danny Glover.

The announcement was made by the National Committee to Free the Cuban 
Five on its webpage (www.freethefive.org), which is sponsoring the 
event along with Martin Sheen, from The Wet Wing;; the National Lawyers 
Guild and the ANSWER Coalition.

The most recent actions related to the Cuban Five case included a tour 
of Indiana by activists with the National Committee to Free the Cuban 
Five, who met with many Indiana residents in order to tell them about 
the five heroes and the ongoing campaign demanding their immediate 
release.

Other very important events have taken place in recent weeks, including 
the highly successful "Breaking the Silence" conference for the Five in 
Toronto, and the Madison, Wisconsin university events, which brought 
over 200 people who heard Leonard Weinglass speak on the case.
