"Bambi C4" - New Film about Int'l Terrorist Luis Posada Carriles

Cubanow.- A new film exposing some of the criminal actions, the
personality and life of international terrorist Luis Posada Carriles is
in its final production stage in Cuba.

"Bambi C4" is the title of the movie, which was shot in Cuban and
Venezuelan locations. It reveals aspects of the youth and old age of
the notorious criminal, author -- among other violent actions -- of
the 1976 bombing in mid-air of a Cubana airliner off the coast of
Barbados, which claimed 73 innocent lives.

The film, whose script was written by Gustavo Michelana, is directed by
Eduardo Barberena and interpreted by Cuban actors Patricio Wood and
Carlos Padron. The plot reveals some of the crimes committed by Posada,
including his actions while working with the former Venezuelan
Intelligence Services.

Posada Carriles, who is currently enjoying freedom in the US city of
Miami, is also accused of the 1997 death of Italian youth Fabio Di Celmo
in a Havana hotel, which was the target of a terrorist bombing by a man
paid by Posada.

The film reveals some alleged statements by the terrorist during his
stay in US jails while waiting to be tried only for lying to US
immigration services. The legal process concluded by releasing Posada
Carriles in 2007, despite the fact that the presiding judge  recognized
the criminal character of the defendant and linked him to the
assassination of former US President John F. Kennedy.
